Why the sidelines aren't free seats
We recently had Simon Atik from Guaranteed Rate Affinity at our Sotheby’s company office meeting. I really enjoyed his presentation and appreciated his thoughts on where the lending environment is / is going. No one knows where the market will go, and sometimes as Realtors, we risk sounding self-serving if we advise a client to “Act Now!” instead of waiting on the sidelines. But, in some cases, “Act Now!” is actually the correct advice. Simon summarized his thoughts in an office wide email and I wanted to share that here.
He is a bit generous with the assumed appreciation in his final example, in my opinion. However, it's an example, and the principles it helps flesh out are strong. Hope you find value in it.
